Afrique

Afrique is the French word for “Africa,” a continent located to the south of Europe and bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Mediterranean Sea to the north, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast. Africa is the second-largest continent in the world, both in land area and population. It is known for its diverse geography, cultures, and languages, featuring deserts, rainforests, savannas, and mountains. The continent is home to 54 recognized sovereign countries, each with its own distinct cultural and historical identities. Africa plays a significant role in global issues such as ecology, economy, and geopolitics, being rich in natural resources and a variety of ecosystems.
