Météo

Météo is the French term for “weather.” It refers to the atmospheric conditions at a specific time and place, encompassing factors such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric pressure. Météo is used to describe short-term weather patterns and conditions that can change frequently over hours or days. It is distinct from “climate,” which refers to the long-term average of weather conditions in a particular area over an extended period. Météo is often reported by meteorologists, and it plays a crucial role in daily life as it influences activities ranging from travel to agriculture. In addition to local and regional forecasts, météorological phenomena are studied to understand larger-scale patterns and trends in the atmosphere.
