Forces armées

“Armed forces” refers to the military organizations of a country that are responsible for the defense and protection of the state and its interests. This typically includes the army, navy, air force, and, in some countries, additional branches such as marines or coast guard. Armed forces are tasked with conducting military operations, maintaining national security, and assisting in disaster response and humanitarian efforts. They are composed of both active-duty personnel and reservists who can be called upon during times of need. The structure, funding, and roles of armed forces can vary widely between nations, reflecting different military strategies, historical contexts, and geopolitical situations. Armed forces often engage in training exercises, participate in international coalitions and peacekeeping missions, and play a significant role in a country’s foreign policy and diplomacy.
