Missiles hypersoniques

Hypersonic missiles are a type of missile that travels at speeds greater than Mach 5, which is five times the speed of sound, or over 3,800 miles per hour (6,174 kilometers per hour). Unlike traditional ballistic missiles that follow a predictable arc and travel outside the earth’s atmosphere before re-entering, hypersonic missiles are capable of flying at lower altitudes within the atmosphere and can maneuver during flight. This combination of speed and maneuverability makes them difficult to detect and intercept by existing missile defense systems. Hypersonic missiles can be used for various purposes, including strategic strikes against high-value targets, and pose significant challenges in terms of military defense and security for nations around the world.
